Welcome Spring...

with the Smocked Fan Ornament Smock-Along!

Join A Fun & Supportive Stitching community as we Smock-Along Together

We start Stitching February 2nd!

We will be stitching the Smocked Fan together over 2 weeks.

Would you like to learn how to smock?  Maybe you would like to try a small craft project during the dreary days of winter? Perhaps you want to stitch up a little something for Valentine's Day? Maybe you want to get a really early start for next Christmas!
So take a few moments for yourself to relax, stitch, try something new, and have fun with a great stitching community! Grab a cup of tea, and come join us as we smock-along together!

Not interested in the Smock-Along, but want the book, grab it here!

Here's How the Smock-Along Works:

>>> Register for the Smock-Along - there is no charge.
>>> Mark your calendar with the stitching schedule.
>>> Gather your materials including the Ebook or printed book of patterns  - yes there is a charge for the pattern book.
>>> Pleat your fabric or purchase a pre-pleated fan kit from Pink Hollybush.   Gather the remaining materials.
>>> Join us via Zoom on February 2nd at 3 or 8:00 p.m. (eastern time) for our lesson where we will meet each other, get some tips on different options for the fan and learn how to prep and finish the ornament. A sewing machine is necessary to attach the lace to the fan ornament. I will cover how to do this in the zoom meeting.
>>> Utilize the Facebook group to get questions answered, encourage each other on, and see what everyone is making.

But Lisa, I have never smocked before, don't own a pleater, don't remember how to pleat...

Will I be able to figure this out?

>>> Are you a crafty person, comfortable with a needle and thread, and able to teach yourself from written instructions?  Then come join the smock-along - you will be just fine.

>>> Are you a visual person who prefers video instruction? Do you want to know all the ins and outs so you can master the technique? Do you want to be able to see each stitch being smocked? Would like to have the videos to go back to and review? Then check out my Learn to Smock Ornament Course.

>>> No pleater, no problem, check out our pre-pleated fabric kits on the supplies page once you register.

"My daughter wants you to know that you are a great teacher - she says my work/smocking/sewing has gone from above average to the next level above. She and my granddaughters thank you very much. Me too." Peggy D.

Welcome to the Smocked Fan Ornament Smock-Along!

Hi, I am Lisa and I am so glad that you are interested in welcoming spring with a smocked fan ornament. I have been smocking for over 25 years, have my Artisan level certification in smocking from the Smocking Arts Guild of America and served as their national President from 2014-2016. I started Pink Hollybush Designs to share my love of smocking, so grab a cup of tea, come join me in my sewing studio and Let's Smock-Along Together.
