An Inspiration Gallery

Brother Sister Outfits

Customers of Pink Hollybush have made some amazing garments with our fabrics and I have just added an inspiration gallery to the website to showcase some of these amazing designs. I want to take a few moments today to share some of these designs and especially some of the special details with you. First up are these adorable Brother/Sister outfits made by Kelli for her twin nephew and niece. She used our Anchors Away and Coral and Teal Check Fabrics. The patterns are Children's Corner Johnny and Hillary. I love the details that she included. Notice the contrasting fabric covered buttons she used on the outfits!

And on the back as well:

The buttons are made from the Anchors Away fabric and just fussy cut. She also used the Anchors Away fabric for the piping on the dress at the yoke seam, around the neckline, and the sleeve edges.

Jill used our Little Boy Blue Stripe for this adorable bubble:

Her attention to detail is also amazing. The collar and sleeves are piped with Blue Pique. Christmas is certainly a long way off, but in case you would like to get started early, here is an adorable bishop from Julie made from Noel Stripe and smocked with red pearl cotton.

Julie hand crocheted an edging to sleeves. If hand crochet isn't something in your repertoire, you could achieve a similar effect with our Red Crochet Trim. Kelli also made this wonderful cotton night gown from London Calling Dawn.

She trimmed the edges with our Gray Crochet Cotton Trim. The pattern is from Primrose Lane. Here is a close-up of her lovely smocking:

You will find more amazing inspiration in our gallery, and if you have made something from one of our lovely fabrics, please email me a picture. I would love to include it!
