Pink Hollybush Patterns are Here!

Look what arrived from the Printer while I was away on vacation- all 16 boxes! I am so excited because I have had Pink Hollybush Patterns professionally printed and they are finally here!

Honey, Twirly Skirt, May Garden and July Flowers have all been professionally printed and now come in a 6"x9" format. I have had enough sales and interest to decide to take that next big scary step as a business and have the patterns professionally printed. So what does this mean? Well the pattern pieces are now printed on a lighter weight paper that should be easier to work with. They are also folded by machine, so they come in a neater package. The instructions have been reformatted and now are part of an instruction booklet.

Each pattern had to be reformatted for the booklet and resized for the new pattern sheet dimensions. (It has taken months!) What hasn't changed? The patterns have thorough step by step directions with photos to guide you each step of the way. The photos are now in black and white (printing the instruction booklets in color wasn't a financial possibility). But if you need more help, each pattern also has (or will have) a companion video course that shows each part of the sewing process. Help is just a click away!

The July Flowers course is up and available for free, so check out!

July Flowers is made for woven fabrics and is constructed with traditional sewing methods, but with a few modern twists. The dress buttons down the back and has a skirt placket, but the armholes are finished with the new burrito method. July Flowers is our most advanced sewing pattern.

Honey is our easiest and quickest pattern to sew. It is a simple pull over the head knit dress. Honey comes with several options including using a smocked woven insert, or a gathered version with a high or mid yoke.

Twirly Skirt is our newest pattern and it can be made with a knit or woven fabric - smocked or gathered. It is a simple pull on and go skirt with an elastic back.

Last but not least, May Garden is the knit version of July Flowers. Since May Garden is made with a knit fabric, it also is just pull on and go and simple to construct. And coming this fall...Rosie!

Rosie is a simple button down the front knit dress that can be smocked on both the front and back. She also can be made with a gathered high yoke or mid yoke. A sew-along with step by step videos will be happening this fall as part of the Stitcher's Circle, so again if you are interested sign up for the newsletter to be the first to know when registration opens!

Happy Sewing!
