Twirly Skirt Smocked or Gathered PDF Pattern

Twirly Skirt is a yoked skirt with an elastic back waist made for every day. The skirt can be made in an easy care and comfortable knit (View A) or a great cotton woven (View B). With the elastic back waist, Twirly Skirt is simple to pull on and go. Twirly Skirt is quick to sew and comfortable to wear.  It even comes with pockets for all her treasures! Twirly Skirt can be made with either a smocked or gathered skirt that joins to the yoke.

This listing is for a PDF digital downloadable pattern. Twirly Skirt is also available as a printed paper pattern and a pre-pleated kit. 

 View A: 1/3 yard Lightweight Knit Interfacing, paper backed fusible such as Steam a Seam Light (optional but recommended) in ¼ or ½ inch size, or strips of knit interfacing cut to size. View B: 1/3 yard Lightweight interfacing.

For all views: 1” wide elastic for waist, Coordinating thread, Basting Glue (optional, but recommended), mini-piping cord (optional). A piping ruler (optional but recommended if adding optional piping).
