Learn to Smock by creating a Smocked Ornament or Your First Smocked Garment! The Learn to Smock course covers the basics from how to pleat and prep the fabric, center a smocking design, read a smocking graph, and execute each of the basic stitches. From there is shows how to construct the ornament or insert the smocked piece into one of 3 garments: Honey by Pink Hollybush, Johnny or Mary De by Children's Corner. The course does assume you know how to sew and does not show how to complete the garments beyond inserting the smocking.
