It seems that Valentine's Day inspires all kinds of sewing. Maybe its just that we all love the Heart motif and Valentine's Day is an excuse to add it to our sewing, but heart designs are everywhere. In previous years I have gathered together a round-up of free heart patterns that you can find here and here. But there is no shortage of free heart patterns out there, so here is another collection for you. Most of these are patterns for your home, but there is a smocking design and some designs that you can put together quickly for a gift. If you are joining us in the Sew Some Fun sewing challenge, sewing up one of these quick projects will meet the "Sewing for a Holiday" prompt. So lets see what I found! First up we have several bag options. Here are goody bags from Jamie Costiglio.
Aren't these If you want a larger bag, you might like this bucket bag from Olivia Jane Handcrafted.
Or try organizing something in your sewing room or a child's room with this smaller hanging heart basket from Apple Green Cottage.
For the perfect Valentine's dress, Reese's Garden of Hearts would be lovely.
Perhaps you would like to embroider, you could give this heart from Needle & Thread a try.
I am sure a friend would love to receive this fabric covered notebook from So Sew Easy.
If you would to sew something for your home, perhaps you would like Heart Shaped Potholders from Made by Me, Shared with you.
Or perhaps your couch needs a pillow in which case you can choose from these five. There is the lovely Liberty heart pillow from Diary of a Quilter.
This True Love Pillow from Thermoweb,
These Ooh La La Heart Pillows from Stitching Sewcial,
these fun mini pillows from Brewer,
