Recommended Fabrics: Knit Fabrics such as Cotton Knit Jersey made of 95-97% cotton and 3-5% spandex or elastane or Cotton Interlock made of 100% cotton. Woven Fabrics such as Cotton Lawn, Cotton Broadcloth, Quilting Cotton, or Corduroy. Both the dress fabric and the lining fabric should be the same type of fabric - all woven fabric, or all knit fabric. Do not combine a woven fabric with a knit lining or vice versa. If making View A, the Insert should be Cotton Broadcloth or Quilting Cotton even if the dress and lining are made from a knit.
Sunshine Sundress Printed Pattern
The Sunshine Sundress is a simple, quick little dress that is suitable for either knit or woven fabrics. The Sunshine Sundress may be made with a smocked woven insert (View A) or with a plain front (non-smocked View B). The Sunshine Sundress has adjustable ties at the shoulders and is finished with a facing so there are no fasteners or bindings to sew. The lining fabric does show at the ties so this is a fun opportunity to use coordinating fabrics.
Sunshine Sundress is for sizes 6 months - 6 years.
