A few weeks ago I met a good friend in New York City. (Hi Lindsay!) We wanted to catch the Masterworks: Unpacking Fashion at the Met before it closed (and of course have a great visit!) So after seeing the exhibit, which was wonderful, we headed down to Soho to poke around the shops. Now I know that the Pantone color of the year is Greenery, but the fashion designers in Soho didn't seem to have gotten that message. The color that we saw EVERYWHERE, and I mean EVERYWHERE (OK, not Prada), was this soft pink color that Burberry calls Antique Rose. We saw it at Burberry;
We found it at Chanel:
This beautiful dress was hanging in the window at Valentino:
Even the latest pattern from Vogue Patterns is in this color!
So how about you, are you planning any spring sewing in this color?
